Good Morning to you all, just a quick thought today…
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17
As we know, our battle is not with flesh and blood, but in the spiritual realm. Our weapons of war: the Name of Jesus, Jesus’ blood, the Cross, fasting, praying, praise, worship, rest… so what happens when we’ve done all we know? Yes, there is the verse, “Having done all, stand.” But there is a more radical weapon I felt Holy Spirit suggesting this morning…
Love was used to win the greatest battle ever won! The Cross. All of our victory in the Blood of Jesus, and the Cross of Calvary flows out of LOVE. So, are we willing to learn to love the person the enemy might be using? (Remember, it’s not the person)
Jesus’ love is radical, life changing love. It’s upside down, inside out, backward to our human thinking, and it’s powerful to the tearing down of strongholds. He loved us, before we repented, before we would accept Him, before we’d love Him back, with no demand on a return. Jesus died for those who will never accept Him. It’s a radical love. This is no ordinary love.
God bless us to LOVE like Jesus did.
