“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
In the early morning hours, I read in Psalms that God is the “womb of the morning”. Each day is new, each day is without form and void…until the day is done and written down in history. I thought of how writers approach a blank page, or how a painter approaches a blank canvas ready to create something new. Some feel anxious at the “void” they are looking at, not sure they can overcome it with a worthy writing or painting.
God doesn’t hesitate to keep approaching that “formless void” of a new day, because He is has won the war, because He has made the way where there is no way, because He sent Holy Spirit to help us through VICTORIOUSLY. He isn’t daunted to keep creating. He keeps making all things new.
As I go into my day, that has yet to be created, I pray to Father God who has seen its form in the womb and knows its shape. He knit this day together, and will provide for all it holds.
