“one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
All is not a human word; all is not a human capability. We use it as if it was, and in the attempt to do it all we end up burning out. All is a God word, a God sized capability! All is a bigger picture than we can see, and is the Big picture that Jesus saw on the other side of the Cross. In order for Jesus to heal ALL, Be ALL, Give ALL – He had to die on that Cross to rise again and become ALL Things to All People. Jesus knew that He couldn’t make All things new that side of the Cross, the only way was through the Cross on the other side.
Before the Cross, Jesus ministered individually, and I imagine as He interacted with people and healed them and taught them – He was also seeing the many more people that needed Him! The Past, Present and Future people who would have to have Him reach and touch beyond the human limitations of time if there was to be any Hope for them. The whole world; past, present, and future needed His touch, His Presence, His Love. How could He reach ALL people in His human form? It would take the Super added to the Natural to accomplish that task, and that super gets added to our natural only in death.
Jesus had to die to gain the victory and He knew it! His Victory is so totally complete – do we really get it? The humanly unattainable ALL was the Victory! Jesus paid the sin debt in full – All paid, for All people, for all sins, for all time!! Jesus made the way to the Father, all access, all times of the days, all our life and for all eternal time! Jesus’ wounds bought our healing – all diseases, all sickness, ALL our physical needs provided for. Jesus’ death and resurrection provides for us ALL things spiritually needed in this life and needed for eternal life. Jesus’ Blood covers ALL spot and stain throughout ALL our life – past, present, future.
There is no one and nothing else that can, has, or ever will accomplish ALL. All is a magnitude we can’t humanly get. All is given to us by a Magnificent God by His Grace and Mercy on us a people who can boast in nothing.
Praise be to God for that Resurrection Power! That Jesus saw the Big Picture, went through the Cross to obtain ALL that we couldn’t and gives it ALL to us freely that we might walk in ALL the fullness of God!
